-Formal letter-
Like it says, this letter is used for formal situations and it always maintains formalities

-informal or personal letters-
Like it name says, this letter written informally and usually are for friends and familiars

-Business letter-
This letter contains commercial information and is written between business people or workers

This letter contains official information like rules and facts. Officials and police men use this to send information or orders

-social letter-
This letter is used for social ocassions or events, usually as invitations

-report letter-
This letter is usually used for investigations or reports

A letter that informs a person about something

-circular letter-
Letters that are written for many people communicating the same information

-orEder letter-
This letter is to order and specificate something that you are buying

-complaint letter-
They are to claim something or am error to the people with the responsibility
