Use Hashtags for subjects

You can create any type of hashtag you like. If you have a certain project happening with your school or a group of schools, you can tweet about it and use a common hashtag like #sciencerocks or #fractions4kids

Tweet a challenge!

Classrooms can tweet a challenge to another class to further learning. Why not send out a math problem to your class twitter friends with the hashtag #solvethis! Students can have fun tweeting and solving each others challenges.

Collaborative Stories!

Since Twitter has a tweet limit of 140 characters, students can all collaborate on a story together by adding sentences at a time. They can also participate in this type of activity with students from all over the world!

Tweeting is Sharing!

There are many ways we can share with social media, and Twitter is a wonderful tool to explore. Opening an account is easy and if you are a teacher of younger kids you can have a class Twitter account together. Parents will love seeing a window into what their child is learning.

Happy Tweeting!
