  • Turners Syndrome only occurs in girls
  • It occurs in about 1 in 2500 females

  • The body of people who have Turner's Syndrome growth slowed and there no growth spurts at expected times in child hood
  • It generally affects the growth of the body and there is a failure to begin sexual changes during puberty and also there can be heart problems

All the possible effects Turner's Syndrome can have on the body is:
Malformations of the kidneys, sight abnormalities in the heart that increases the risk for heart problems, infertility, pregnancy complications, autoimmune disorder, mental health issues, high blood pressure, hearing loss, vision problems, skeletal problems, and learning disabilities

For this disorder to occur one of the X chromosomes is missing or partially missing

Turner’s Syndrome is not a sex linked disorder. Turner’s Syndrome is located on a X chromosome when the X chromosome is missing or partially missing.

Turner’s Syndrome does not have a cure for all of the symptoms but there are ways to treat specific symptoms that may occur

The way to find out if someone has Turner’s Syndrome is kby doing a blood test or a cheek sample the way that an expecting mother can find out if her daughter has the disorder is by doing a screening of the mother's blood
