Mae had a problem with the man in the yellow suit because he was going to sell there spring water and give away there secret.
Tuck v.s society because their
trying to protect the spring water because it bad for people.
Ch 8: - after the tucks tell Winnie about the spring in the woods, they decide to trust her and take her home with them.
Chapter 9:
After the tucks trusted her enough to take her home,they arrived and let Winnie meet the father.
Chapter 12:
After Winnie meets the father tuck they take a walk and Winnie points out a boat . He then convinces Winnie to not drink the water.
Chapter 13:
After the tucks found out about the horse being stolen the yellow suit was the thief. He went to the fosters and told the grandma where Winnie is.
Personification:
"The ponds got answers. Come along, child lets go out on the water."

And that would have been a disaster so intense that this weary old earth, owned or not to its ferry core, would have trembled on its axis like a beetle on a pin.
