• It was raining
• Everyday Michael went to de hilltop with his binoculars looking for a yatch
• They ate berries and smoked fish
• They painted toghether until octupus ink ran out
• Kensuke draw Kimi and Michiya under the cherry tree
• He could hear and remember them

• Michael spent days perfecting his first attempt of Tomodachi
• Kensuke told Michael that he would be a very good painter
• He wanted to keep a lot of Michaels paintings
• They went fishing to look for octopus ink and more fish, they also played football

• The beacon was drying out
• Michael thought they were going to live in the island for ever
• They were less and less interested in finding a ship
• Kensuke told him that a ship would come
• Stella was on the hilltop, she could see a junk, it was close to the shore

• They were killermen
• They looked for the orangutans
• Kikambo was missing
• They heard a motor

• Micheal thought that it was the Pied Piper leading the children away into a cave in the mountain side
• The hunters were nearer
• Michael and Kensuke stayed hidden at the back of the cave with the orangutans
• The killermen went away

• Michael saw two boddies of dead gibbons, both mothers
• They buried them, they were very sad
• Kikambo appeared charging out of the trees
• That night, they sang `ten green bottles´ eating fish soup as a wake to the gibbons
• Kensuke wanted michael to go to the hilltop to look for a ship
• They were ranning out of painting shells so they went for more

• They made fire and smoke
• The boat was coming
• It was the Peggy Sue
• Kensuke went to the cave

• Kensuke said that he wanted to stay on the island, it was his kingdom
• He told Michael to promise him three things: 1. Paint every day 2. Remember Kensuke 3. Don´t say anything about Kensuke for ten years
• Michael took his foot ball
• He was in the island for almost one year
• His father thought that he was dead, but his mother didn´t
• `not a miracle, just faith´Michael
