THIS IS GOOD EVIDENCE OF THE THEME BECAUSE IT SHOWS THAT EVEN THE PEOPLE THAT WE WOULD CALL THE"GOOD GUYS" CAN BE GREEDY FOR THE SO CALLED TREASURE.
This is good evidence of the theme because it shows that even the people that we would call the"good guys" can be greedy for the so called treasure.

The black spot is a good example of a symbol because in the story it stands for the hour of death. Even at the very sight of the black spot sent the captain to his death.

This a good example of the symbol because if it wasn't for the apple barrel, Jim wouldn't have heard about the possible mutiny. It adds to the suspense and danger to the story.
