PRESENTATION OUTLINE
TOP THREE REASONS ROME FELL
The Roman Empire became to large and was hard to keep up with. This caused them to no longer address problems or develop solutions. Also they used so much of their money for the German invasions, the empire had less money for maintaining the infrastructure.
I chose this as my number three because it feel that the over expansion was a reason the Roman Empire fell, but not as important as my number one and two.
By loosing land from the invasions, this led to less farming and over worked soil which meant less food and less food means bad economy for the community. Also with the military relying on other regions for supplies, by the third century, they didn't have anymore to conquer so they were running out of food and supplies to take and were now having to buy it.
This is my number two because, this problem has a ripple effect. It goes on effecting other civilizations and also causing other things in the empire to fall apart.
There were about 22 emperors that had violent deaths. This shoed they didn't have a strong system to determine who the next ruler would be. This also meant they didn't have consistent leadership which caused the people to not have full trust in their leadership and government and also showing weakness in the empire.
This is my number one because i feel this is the main reason the Roman Empire fell. Political instability led to many other things to fall in the empire, causing not only political problems but more more problems to deal with that they didn't have the time and money for.
