SKITCH

• Allows you to write or draw on pictures from your photo gallery.
• Useful in science classes when labeling diagrams.

DICTIONARY

• Can search for any word and find definitions.
• Useful when writing school papers.

SOCRATIVE

• A teacher creates an online "classroom" and creates a quiz, when you submit the quiz, the teacher can see your answers.
• Useful when studying or as a practice test.
• Used most in Biology, but could be used in any class if teachers created accounts.

SPELLING FREE

• Students can enter in a word list and take practice tests or oral tests.
• Useful in English classes or a class where you would need to know the spelling of vocab.

CALCULATOR

• Works just like any other calculator, but is always accessible because students always have iPads with them.
• Useful in math or occasionally science classes.

GEOGEBRA

• Can calculate, measure degrees of angles you draw, and be used to draw well drawn graphs using tools.
• Useful in math classes.

PAGES

• Used to type, edit, share, and save papers.
• Has a variety of formats to write papers as, such as brochure or card form, or the classic blank sheet.
• Used in all classes.

PIANO MAESTRO

• Teaches students how to play and recognize notes on the piano.
• Useful to be able to find notes easily on the piano.
• Also helps teach basic music rhythms.
• Used in Choir, but could also be used in Band to easily find pitch.

MY FAVORITE SCHOOL APP: KEYNOTE

• Can be used to create slideshows to present information.
• Has a variety of slideshow styles to choose from, so one fits every project.
• Used in all classes.
