Boat small enough for sailing or rowing by one person

THe skiff just left shore.

To soil, stain, or tarnish

The paper was sullied afters being left outside.

Credulous

Willing to believe or trust

I trusted that he would hold me.

dauntless

Not intimidated and fearless

I was dauntless about doing a backflip.

succumb

To give way to superior force

I was forced to succumb to the military.

crestfallen

Dejected; dispirited; discouraged

I felt crestfallen after my nap.

winced

 A shrinking movement

The slinky was wincing down the stairs.
