TOHM - The Smart Glove uses technology in order to help you with the health of your new premature baby.

How it works

BLUE TEMP SENSORS
will read your babies skin temperature

PULSE OXIMETERS will read your babies oxygen levels and heart rate, from their left hands index finger tip.

This information is sent to the TOHM app, available on any smart phone via bluetooth.

PULSE OXIMETRY
Pulse Oximetry has been in hospitals and
pediatrics for decades. It's likely you've even used it. It simply utilizes light (red and infrared) to measure heart rate and oxygen levels.

BLUETOOTH 4.0
The Smart Glove uses Bluetooth 4.0 to wirelessly transmit information to your phone.

SAFE
Safety was a top priority when engineering this . The glove is hypoallergenic, wireless, and doesn't use any adhesives. The electronic components are housed in a water-resistant, medical-grade silicone case to protect your child from any electrical contact.

BATTERY
Housed within the silicon, a rechargeable battery powers the TOHM glove. The battery will power the smart sock for up to two full days unless you excessively check real time vitals. If you are low on battery, a notification will be sent to your smartphone, and you can recharge the battery using a micro USB charger.

Here is why you will be a Super Parent:

PEACE OF MIND - A FEELING OF PEACE
Bringing a new child home is the beginning of a big adventure. Parents of premature babies can spend a lot of their time worrying about the wellbeing of their child. I hope to ease a bit of that stress, with the gift of the knowledge of your child’s monitored health

NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF STRESS:
Depression
Low Immune System
Menstrual Symptoms
Migraines
Sexual Dysfunction
Stomach Difficulties
Insecurity
Social Withdrawal
Irritability
Bad Coping Mechanisms
Anxiety

SLEEP BETTER
A study by Medical News Today found “that parents lose an average of six months' sleep during the first 24 months of their child's life. Approximately 10% of parents manage to get just two-and-a-half hours continuous sleep each night.” Often linked with a worry for their child while they sleep - TOHM will attempt to help eliminate that feeling of worry because Even Super Parents need to recharge there mental batteries. More Sleep equals Happier Mummies and Daddies!

PEDIATRICIAN
When you arrive at your pediatrician’s office, one of the first things they do is take your child’s temperature, heart rate, and oxygen levels. They use this information to estimate your child’s health. TOHMS will allow you to easily print out your child’s health data and share it with your pediatrician.

“This will probably revolutionize the home health care market” –Dr. Hansen
