DEATH OF TUT

• King Tut was 18 years old and had been placed in a solid gold coffin

• Their tombs were filled with riches. This was a temptation to robbers in ancient times

• In 1922, an archaeologist unearthed the tomb of the pharaoh Tutankhamen, the son-in-law of Akhenaton.

• King Tut was 18 years old and had been placed in a solid gold coffin

THE CURSE

King Tut's mummy itself was said to have been chopped into pieces and set out in the sun where it quickly deteriorated. According to legend, Lord Carnarvon soon died from a mosquito bite; and simultaneously, his three-legged dog howled and dropped dead, and all the lights in the city of Cairo suddenly went out.
