2nd Admendment
"A WELL REGULATED MILITIA, BEING NECESSARY TO THE SECURITY OF A FREE STATE, THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS, SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED."

STATISTICS

• About 30,000 people die annually due to firearm related incidents.
• In 2009 67% of all homisides were conducted with a firearm.
• High profile assassinations, such as the deaths of JFK and MLK Jr were both firearm related.
• Gun related violence is most common in poor urban areas.

WHAT?

• We want to propose an amendment that changes the idea of the second amendment completely.
• All we must do is add 5 words which will save hundreds of thousands of lives...

WHY?

• To decrease the number of homicides a year.
• To protect people in a more humane and safe way

Our plan is to essentially make all weapons illegal. They will be replaced with weapons that shoot rubber bullets. All cops and civilians will follow this.

One exception will be to hunt. All hunters will need to pass a hunters safety course with a background check in order to receive a hunting rifle. Only select hunting rifles will be available.
