HE WAS A SHOP KEEPER AND HE HAD SAW THE VALUE OF SILK AND SPICES, AND HE WANTED TO ALSO BE IN THIS TRADE.

OBSTACLES

  • He asked Spain and Portugal but they rejected his offer.
  • Also he died from a shipwreck coming back on his second voyage.

POSITIVE OUTCOMES/IMPACTS

  • He claimed land for England.
  • He accidentally discovered some of the new world.
  • Us, if he didn’t find the new world we would not be here.

NEGATIVE OUTCOMES/IMPACTS

  • He changed the treaty of Tordesillas. He took some of Spain’s land.
  • He probably spred diseases to American Indians.
  • He had a ship wreck.

  • Cabot didn’t really do anything wrong he was just a regular guy who had an adventurous spirit.

I like that it was hard to find 3 negative impacts, but a lot of good. And we would not be here if he stayed in Europe.
