• The history of game wardens started in Germany with what they called jagger Meisters to preserve wildlife and stop noble form poaching

TRAINING

• All must meet minimum requirements which are having a bachelors degree and must be at least 21 years of age to go into this field.

WHY I LIKE THIS CAREER

• One reason I like this career is because I like the outdoors and also because I think it would be fun.

AUTHORITY

• Game wardens/ DNR officers have as much or more authority than state troopers have they can just walk in and check for poached animals
