The article: "Genetic and environmental influences on personality trait stability and growth during the transition to adulthood: A three wave longitudinal study" it is stated that personality is linked back to four different aontributors: intimacy, identity, and parenthood. Each of these factors has some sort of influence toward who we will become (what we like, dislike, do, don't do, etc.)

INTIMACY: close familiarity or friendship
Intimacy affects our personality because our personal relations with others tend to "influence us into becoming like or unlike them." When we learn more and more about a person, we inherit some of their habits and ways of seeing things. In the article, it says that we almost mimic the traits that we like and, in the future, reject those we dislike.

IDENTITY
identity is an enormous part of our personality because it involved who WE are without others' influence. The article explains that our identity is what we are born with. It is what characterizes us and isolates us from others. Although our identity changes as we interact with others, a small part of it will always remain with us, contributing to our future personality and beliefs.

PARENTHOOD
According to statistics in the article, "Genetic and environmental influences on personality trait stability and growth during the transition to adulthood: A three wave longitudinal study", parenthood serves as the number one factor in the influence of a human's personality and views. It is studied that we inherit almost 40% of our personality traits from genes. With this percentage, it is easy to conclude that we are born with almost half of our parents' personality traits, and from our toddler-teenage years we are influenced by their consequences and lessons.
