AT THE BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN THERE ARE PLANKTONS.

PLANKTONS ARE THE PRIMARY PRODUCERS

Ice is what keeps us alive.
When the sun's UV rays hit the ice it bounces off the ice so that we don't burn.but ice is also melting at the same time so it's getting warmer and warmer

Antarctica holds 90% percent of the world's freshest water. If antartica melts the ocean will rise by 60to65 meters.

Besides the ice melting we could build higher towers or defenses. But what about all the creatures living there, building a family, caring for each other, will we just leave them there so that they can die?

Krill is important because it is the number one producer. If they would disappear other species will be extinct. Animals will die of hunger. If krill keeps disappearing we need to place phytoplankton in the sea so that the krill can be fed

HUMANS ARE ALSO HARMING ANTARCTICA THROUGH CLIMATE CHANGE

There are many different types of ice. Here are five of them.
1.ice floe
2.sea ice
3.Frazil ice
4.Brash ice
5. Floe it Ice

In the ice we can find lots of information from the past.Every meter represents 100 years. If we cut the ice we can see how cold or warm it was at that time using a microscope.

There are so many reasons why Antarctica should be saved. So why not give it a try?

AS WE SPEAK ANTARCTICA IS BEING DESTROYED BY HUMANS
