that will be able to withstand another tornado.

She is looking for engineers to design and build a prototype for her new house.

Use what you can learn or know about structural design.

  • pipe cleaners
  • toothpicks
  • 2 pieces of computer paper
  • paper clips

materials list continued

  • tape
  • 5 index cards
  • scissors

Design and Building

  • Before construction, you must create "blueprints" of your initial design indicating how much of each material and where it will be on your blueprint

Continued

  • Over the time of construction and testing, the design should be modified.
  • The final design should be your last whether (LOL) it works or not.
