HABITAT

  • Gray wolves live in tundra to woodlands and forests.
  • Gray wolves are mostly found in forest and woodlands
  • Abiotic factors that help the gray wolves survive are temperature, sun, and snow or rain.

  • Gray wolves control population

POPULATION

  • Gray wolves usually like to live in packs
  • Limiting factors are lack of living space, disease, starvation, amount of prey, pollution, and predators.

ENERGY

  • The gray wolf is a consumer.
  • It is a carnivore (only eats meat).
  • Their primary food source are deer, moose, elk, and bison.
  • Gray wolves are tertiary consumers
