Historic Centre of Mexico City and Xochimilco

Located in Mexico, Historic Centre of Mexico City and Xochimilco has five Aztec temples, one of the largest cathedrals in the continent, and 19th- and 20th-century public buildings for example the Palacio de las Bellas Artes. This site is important as it preserves culture and all of Mexico's interesting history, without it thousands of information would be lost.

GARAJONAY NATIONAL PARK

Located on the island of La Gomera in the Canary Islands archipelago, Garajonay National Park is covered in 70% forest and is an important source of water and vegitation. Garajonay National Park is important because it gives water to many people and is a home to several wildlife.

COCOS ISLAND NATIONAL PARK

Located 550 km off the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, Cocos Island National Park is ideal laboratory for the study of biological processes and is home to sharks, rays, tuna and dolphins. Since it is a perfect example of the island and the surrounding marine ecosystem interactions and many aquatic animals live in a symbiotic relation ship with the park, it should be protected.

CHURCHES OF CHILOÉ

Located in the Chiloé archipelago off the coast of Chile, 70 churches built in the framework of a "circular mansion", "embody the intangible richness of the Chiloé Archipelago". These churches provide information on successful fusion of European and indigenous chile culture.

CITY OF QUITO

Located in Ecuador, the City of Quito is the capital and was founded on the ruins of an Inca city. The City of Quito is very important as it is one of the least altered connection of latin art. It is also the home base of San Francisco and Santo Domingo and the Church and Jesuit College of La Compañía which are examples of "Spanish, Italian, Moorish, Flemish and indigenous art".
