What's the problem?
Companies worldwide are using child labor for cotton to make our clothes.

How does this impact Americans?
It fulfills our needs by providing us with apparel that is produced by child labor.

The solution
Boycotting is the act of refusing to buy or handel goods as a punishment or protest.

Where is this happening?
In the U.S and Europe, major companies are protesting to discontinue practice of forced labor.

The major companies that signed the pledge against child labor.
Disney, H&M, Gap, Walmart, Target, Tesco, Levi's, Nike, Fruit of the Loom, C&A, Marks and Spencer, Bed Bath & Beyond, Timberland, Nordstorm, and Abercrombie and Fitch

Was the solution
Successful?
The Uzbek government refuses to fund on the cotton industry in the country and pays below the international market prices for the cotton. The government also provides free labor to the farmers.

How much money does the average house hold spend on clothes?
They spend about 3.6 percent of their paychecks.
