1912, your standing in England's South Hampton Harbor.Your standing in front of the biggest ship that has ever been made.Even the most powerful person feels small.Water tight walls are designed to keep water from flowing from one part of the ship to another.The ship also contains 15 watertight doors.Most newspapers said "The Titanic is practically unsinkable.

There were classes of people in different parts of the ship.There were 1st-class state rooms located in the middle of the ship The 1st-class dining room was also located in the middle of the ship.The 2nd-class staterooms was located on the right side of the ship.The second-class dining room was also located on the right side of the ship.The 3rd-class cabins were located on the left side of the the ship.The third-class dining room was located in the middle of the ship.

The 1st-class passengers were in a life of luxury.Some of the richest people in the world traveled on the Titanic. They payed more than $70,000 for one ticket on the Titanic! A lot of 1st-class passengers brought their pets on the ship{2 dogs were saved}.

The 2nd-class would be considered middle-class passengers.Most of the 2nd-class passengers were professors,authors,clergymen,or tourist.There ticket costed $1,800 or more.

The third-class passengers were very poor.They lived in little cabins and they barely got on the Titanic.They had to pay $700 for there ticket.

He was born January 27, 1850.He was drunk the night they crashed.He had 43 years of experience at sea.
