#5 TELEVISON

• Television isn’t that important but it was a huge change.
• The television affected the 20th century by showing moving pictures to educate and entertain viewers.
• Philio T. Farnsworth created the television in 1927.

#4 SOUND FILM

• Sound film affected the 20th century when it helped viewers understand the event rather than guessing what there talking about.
• Making it even more helpful and educational.
• Thomas Edison invented recorded sound in the back of movie moving pictures in 1910.

#3 CELEPHONES

• Cellphones affected the 20th century by giving people the ability to contact another person who didn’t live around them.
• Even though cellphones took a second to be made portable and popular, it was still a big advancement.
• Martin Cooper invented the first hand held phone in 1973 putting it on market in 1984.

#2 FLIGHT

• This affected 20th century because it meant a person would be able to travel across the country in a few hours instead of a few weeks.
• Flight is a big advancement considering it helped travel become a lot easier.
• The Wright brothers takes there first successful flight in 1903.

#1 THE TREATMENT FOR AIDS

• This was in my opinion the BIGGEST advancement because it saved many lives after it was finally invented.
• Many people who had aids knew they were going to die and die fast so they gave up.
• It was invented in 1994 (which wasn’t that long ago) by

• I PUT THESE INVENTIONS IN THIS ORDER BECAUSE I PERSONALLY BWLIEVE THAT THESE INVENTIONS ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT. IF WE DIDNT HAVE TELEVISION THEN WE COULD WATCH EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS AS A CLASS.
• IF WE DIDNT HAVE SOUND IN THE BACK OF THOSE VIDEOS WE WOULDNT BE ABLE TO HEAR WHAT WAS GOING ON. IF WE DIDNT HAVE CELLPHONES WE WOULDNT BE ABLE TO CONTACT YOUR PIERS AND FAMILY WHO DONT LIVE CLOSE BY.
• IF WE DIDNT HAVE FLIGHT WE WOULDNT BE ABLE TO TRAVEL AROUND THE WORLD WITHOUT TAKING MULITPLE MOBILES. IF WE DIDNT HAVE THE AIDS TREATMENT MANY PEOPLE WE BE DYING ALOT FASTER BUT NOW THEY GET MORE TIME IN THERE LIFE TO LIVE. AND THESE ARE MY REASONS FOR PICKING THESE INVENTIONS.
