WHAT IS A THUNDERSTORM?
A thunderstorm is an intense storm with strong winds.
Thunderstorms also have heavy rain involved with them.
Lighting is also sometimes included in a thunderstorm.
After the lighting strikes it is followed by a deep sound.
This sound is commonly referred to as thunder.
