• Venezuela is bordered by the Caribbean Sea, Brazil,and Columbia.

THE FLAG

• Yellow, blue, and red horizontal stripes.
• 8 white stars on the blue stripe in a semicircle.
• There is a coat of arms on the yellow stripe in the top right corner.
• In 1836 7 stars were added. They represented Venezuela's independence in 1830.

• IN THE LAST TWENTIETH CENTURY DISSATISFACTON BECAME STRONGER
• IN 1999 CONSTITUTION BECAME THE LAW OF THE LAND THAT CAME W/ A FEW CHANGES IN 2004
• VENEZUELA'S CONSTITUTION PROVIDES FOR A PRESIDENT WHO SEERVES FOR SIX YEARS, BUT CAN BE REECLECTED

RELIGION

FERIA DEL SOL

• Celebrated every Febuary 2nd.
• This festival is called the "Virgen de Candlearia".
• They wear colored outfits and dance.
