PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Problem:
The Viet Cong created booby traps that have a high risk of causing infection or even death, 11% of deaths were caused by the booby traps
Booby trap solution: carry a long stick with you to sense the spikes before you step on them and always be aware of where you walking.
Problem 2:
The Viet Cong hid in trees to spot soldiers while staying hidden. They used taps to communicate where the soldiers were.
Tree tactic solution: if you hear tapping prepare for a possible battle, look up often to see soldiers in the trees.
Problem 3: the Viet Cong created a network of tunnels underground that allowed their soldiers to move safely and spy on soldiers. Also, they had supplies and places to sleep.
Tunnel solution: tap on the ground to check if it's hollow, if you find one alert your fellow soldiers and bomb the tunnel.
Problem 4: the Viet Cong often fought at night and ambushed soldiers.
Night fighting solution: make sure their is always someone awake at night, if you here an unusual sound be ready to start fighting.
