OPINION

• The fire was a tragedy because lots of people died
• The owners were selfish so they locked the doors
• If the working conditions were better the would've not started

WHAT IF THE FIRE NEVER HAPPENED?

• If the fire didn't happen child labor would probably be allowed today
• The working conditions would have not been changed
• But since the working conditions were another fire would've started

WHAT IMPACT DID THE FIRE HAVE ON HISTORY

• Since the fire happened child labor was no longer legal
• Working conditions improved because the fire happened
• The family's got paid 75$ because their loved ones died
• People who now work get days off and breaks

REVELANCE

• If the fire happened today there would've been cleaner working conditions
• Lots of people died and their families probably would've got more than 74$
• The owners would have been prosecuted the first time
