The French and Indian War fought from 1753 to 1763

  • Involed George Washington, Ben Franklin, General Braddock, William Pitt
  • The War was fought, because the colonists needed more land for farming
  • It is important today, because it helped the colonists gain more land

Pontiac's War fought in May 1763 to Fall 1764

  • Involved Pontaic, British, Ottawa Nation
  • It was fought, because of the same reason as the F&I war
  • The war was fought with Pontaic forming an alliance with several natives
  • While the colonists having many more forces even killing innccents  

The Proclamation of 1763

  • Involved the British and the Colonists
  • It was made, because Britian wanted to avoid further wars with Natives
  • The colonists believed they had the right to colonise wherever they want
  • The Proclamation was hard to enforce thanks to the Colonists'  protest

  • It involved the British, Sugar, and the Colonists
  • The act was Made, because he put a duty on several products
  • Some of the products include molasses and plenty more
  • The Colonial sumlgerrs protested, since this was considered punishment

  • The was made, because they wanted to enforce the proclamation of 1763
  • This act required that the colonists quarter 10,000 soldiers into the colon

  • Involved British Parliament, Sons of Liberty, Thomas Hutchinson
  • The act was made, because it would help the British India Company
  • In response the Sons of Liberty dumped several piles of tea   
  • They dressed up as native americans and destroyed 942 pounds of Tea

  • Involved Thomas Paine, King Geogre the III, amd George Washington
  • The Document was made, because helped stimulate broad support for freedom
  • The document ridculed the idea of being ruled by kings
  • The document said that the colonists should govern themselves
  • This inspired the colonists  chaning the minds of men in the colonies
