What are checks and balances?

  • The checks and balances divided into three groups of government the legislative branch, the Executive branch, and the judicial branch.
  • With these there is not just one person taking care of the US.
  • The reason our founding fathers made checks and balances is so the person that is president will not end up acting like the king George.
