Stolen Generation

Some facts

• the children taken were Torres Strait Islander & Aboriginal
• It happened between 1910 - 1970.
• State Government Agencies and Church missions took the children

The stolen generation was when the British people took the young Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander children to make them marry other British men.

The reason that the British people took them young Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander children is because the didn't want the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander to continue they wanted it to be an all white economy.
