  • Chemical exposed of one or more simple sugars
  • Sugars and starches

  • Nutrients that store energy and store some vitamins
  • Produce hormones
  • In liquid and solid

PROTEINS

  • Proteins are nutrients that are used for building and repairing tissues and cells
  • Help protect your body from germs
  • Meat, poultry, fish, and cheese are a good way to get protein

VITAMINS

  • Organic composed that control many body functions
  • With out vitamins your body wouldn't function properly
  • There can be bad effects with out them

MINERALS

  • Elements that are needed for good heslth
  • Need minerals for iron, sodium, potassium, and zinc
  • Need it to build strong bones

WATER

  • Very important nutrient
  • Need for energy and body functions
  • Fill spaces in joints to avoid shock
  • Keeps your body hydrated
