- Due to the Maldives flat land, the floods cause great danger to the islands.
- Airports, docks, and ground water aquifers are crucial to the Maldives that are vulnerable to flooding.
WHAT IS BEING DONE?
- Currently, sea walls have been built, but this is only a temporary solution.
- The Maldives are hoping to stop global warming in order to stop the rising sea levels as a permanent solution.
