  • It was the second most important crusade
  • It was launched from Europe
  • It was started because of the fall of the country of edema
  • It was announced by the pope, Eugene III

  • It was the first to be launched by European kings:
  • Louis VII and Conrad III of Germany
  • There goal was to cross Anatolia and destroy the turkish army

THE GOOD SIDE OF THINGS

  • The only good thing that came out of the
  • Second crusade was when they were heading over to
  • Holy land, they stopped and helped the Portuguese in The
  • Capture of lisbon in 1447

WHAT THEY DID RIGHT AND WRONG

  • There armies marched separately Across Europe
  • They were then soon defeated by seljuk turks

HOW THEY MUST HAVE FELT

  • They must have been very scared but happy to go to war
  • They beleived that going to war was good because they would go to war
