PRESENTATION OUTLINE
On the first warm spring afternoon a gust of wind blows around you;
as your nose picks up the scent of blooming dandelions.
The precious sound of birds chirping;
wakes you up on a Sunday morning in May.
Taking a refreshing sip of sweet, homemade lemonade;
while your skin turns tan on a June day.
At the zoo you stroke a giraffe's long spotted neck;
on your last week of summer break.
You notice the leaves turning yellow;
signaling fall’s approach.
All the summer’s effortless sunsets are long gone;
and are replaced with the early, dark nights that surround you now.
Little by little every day, you gain a few minutes of sunlight;
to postpone the night sky.
You fear the snowstorms will never end,
until the sun shines its rays and the snow begins to melt.
The cycle repeats every year,
4 seasons spread out over 12 months;
and yellow is in each one.
