• The Putnam were rich but then Salem village was divided
• The Putnam in the less fertile western half
• The porters in the fertile eastern half
• The Putnam's had lost the political influence
• Ann Putnam then accused (Rebecca) Nuese

IT COULD ASLO BE CAUSED MY AN INLLNESS

• Their was a diagnosis of hysteria
• Their was ergot
• And many others

THEIR WAS ALSO THE IDEA OF ACTUALLY BEING WITCHES

• The bible said " thou shalt not suffer a witch to live"
• Cotton Mather said that their were evil spirits
• Ann Putnam said she was being afflicted

BUT IN CONCLUSION I STILL THINK JEALOUSY IS WHAT CAUSED
