PRESENTATION OUTLINE

The Report Card

Author: Andrew Clements Presentation By: Ben Barretta

The Main Characters

  • Nora
  • Stephen

The Plot

  • Nora gets bad grades on the report card.
  • Nora then gets in trouble with the principal.
  • The principal tells Nora to apologize to all the teachers and try to do better.
  • Finally, she is getting A's on every class.

My feelings for the story are

sad and happy.

I think the title

does fit the story.

My favorite part

of the book is when Nora does better in school.

The surprise

in the story was that Nora likes someone in her grade, and she is only 8 years old.

I think that

the ending shouldn't be changed.

I think that

the people who like surprising books would like this story.

What confused

me was that Nora got D's on purpose because Stephen told her to.

I think the most important phrase in the story is

"Always Try Your Best."

I think that the people who would enjoy it

are people who like funny stories.

I think the people who wouldn't enjoy it are

people who don't like funny stories.
