Introduction
The Sunnah and the Qur'an are both the bases of Islam, but they have their diffences. All Muslims respect both though, because they are important to their religion.
WHAT IS THE SUNNAH?
- The Sunnah is a guide for proper living
- Sunnah is also part of the Muslim law

- The Sunnah is Muhammad's actual words and deeds
- The Sunnah is not a physical object
THE HADITH
- The Hadith is the written version of the Sunnah
- The Hadith is written in Arabic
THE SUNNAH
- Sunnah is the way of life that Islamic prophet Muhammad left for Muslims
- Word Sunnah literally means “smooth and easy flow" or “direct path"
- It is what Muhammad believed, implied, and approved
- It is the source of Islamic law, second only to Qur'an

- Show the way of life of Muslim
ALTERNATIVE VIEWS ON SUNNAH
- According to some scholars, Sunnah was created before Muhammad
- It is tradition of Prophets of god, specifically of Abraham
- A broad form of Sunnah is practiced by other religions too
WHAT'S THE QUR'AN?
- The Qur'an is a scripture; the Muslim's holy book
- God, Allah, describes the laws and teachings of Islam in the Qur'an
- The Qur'an holds the words of God
WHO GAVE THE QUR'AN TO THE MUSLIMS?
- God- Angel Gabriel- Muhammad- Muslims for the Qur'an
HOW DO THE MUSLIMS FEEL ABOUT THE QUR'AN?
- The Muslims believe that the Qur'an should be applied to regular life more often
RESPECT FOR THE QUR'AN
- Not allowed to get it dirty
- Most Muslims memorize the Qur'an
- Believe that the Qur'an is the final book
BECOMING A SYSTEM OF LAW
- Guidelines of the Qur'an are used by Muslims to decide legal things
- The guidelines have rules for punishment and etc.
COMPARING AND CONTRASTING THE BIBLE, TORAH, AND QUR'AN

Conclusion
Although the Sunnah and the Qur'an are different in some ways, they both play great roles in the Muslim religion.
