THE MUSKET

  • The musket could shoot accurately at 150 yards
  • The musket was shot with a half inch 3 ounce lead ball
  • The musket was approximately 4 ft long and 9 pounds

THE FLINTLOCK PISTOL

  • The flintlock pistol could shoot up to 15 yards
  • It could shoot 2-3 shots in a minute
  • The flintlock pistol was decently accurate
  • It hit the target less than hoped

THE CANNON

  • The cannon could shoot up to 90 yards
  • One cannon ball took 5 hours of skilled iron work
  • The cannon was hard to fire accuratly
  • If the ball did hit its target it did a good bit of damage

THE BAYONET

  • It was the attachment to the musket and flintlock pistol
  • It was usually 1foot and 6 inches long
  • The musket was used as a spear when it had the bayonet

COMPARISON TO THE PATRIOT

  • The movie accurately portrays the weapons used
  • It also accurately shows the sides using them
