The Patriot Act allowed law enforcement to use tools to detect and prevent terrorism

WHEN OR WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE

  • Two planes hit the twin towers in September 11, 2001
  • Attack on the twin towers by terrorist
  • September 11 the 3rd plane hit the pentagon
  • The fourth plane crashed in Pennsylvania

WHERE DID THE EVENT TAKE PLACE?

  • Twin towers attack happened in New York
  • The crash of the fourth plane happened in Pennsylvania
  • The Patriot Act became a law in October 26, 2001 in Washington, D.C.

WHY

  • The Patriot Act was design to prevent another terrorist attack
  • It made stricter penalties for people who committed act of terrorism
  • The Patriot Act became a law because of 9/11

  • Basic conditions guaranteed to each person
