I is for independence. It is independence because all of the gang members are really independent. But Pony Boy is really independent, because he always goes to the movies, reads, and goes to school by himself. Most of the gang members have independence, but they stick together.

J is for Johnny. Johnny is a greaser, he got beat up really badly by the Soc's. Johnny is the gangs pet. Nobody messes with Johnny. He doesn't really have a good life at home because his parents beat him.
K is for kind. Cheery is really kind to Pony Boy. Most Soc's are really man to the greasers, but Cheery is really nice.

M is for Mickey Mouse. M is Mickey Mouse because when Soda worked at a stable Mickey Mouse was a horse that only liked, and listened to Soda. Soda went to the stables everyday to see him.

O is for ordinary. O is for ordinary because Johnny and Pony Boy were laying down and looking at the stars. Johnny was talking about killing himself, they both want to live somewhere were there aren't any Soc's or greasers. They both want to love somewhere were there are just ordinary people.
