PRESENTATION OUTLINE

CHAPTERS 1-4

A is for All
Within this lifestyle, it's all or nothing. It shows the greaser lifestyle and how they rely on each other no matter what. It's all the gang or none.

B is for Boundaries
There are certain boundaries included while being a greaser. It isn't as easy and usually you must not put anything before you brothers or gang. Greasers have boundaries of violence also, when jumping others and to stay away from Soc's. It displays what rules while being a greaser and how to positively do them.

C is for Cherry Valance

Cherry shows how girls can play a role In life in these times. But however she uncovers a Soc's personality and how one can react toward a greaser. She is an important character.

D is for Determination
The feeling of determination is uncovered between PonyBoy. He is determined to do many the things just as any other. Determination is a big role because it needs to be felt to get things done especially in this time.

E is for Early
Early is the best time for greasers. It shows definitely with the partying and drinking greasers do not get much sleep and are awake early at this time.

F is for Friendly
Friendly is not a big thing between gangs. Especially when greasers abuse and even jumps Soc's. However not all greasers are jerks certain greasers are friendly to others even some Soc's are friendly as well such as Marcia and Cherry. This uncovers the personality of certain ones, and how not everybody follows the "gang" rules.

G is for girls
Girls are a huge part of a lifestyle of greasers. It uncovers how much respect is shown toward them and how they are treated in this time.

H is for homesick
This is felt all over during this book. It shows that gangs are separated and may not feel the best. Homesick is especially felt when gangs are not with each other, or fail to have a home, or family, emphasizing they don't feel the best and feel homesick.

CHAPTERS 5-8

I is for indignity
Evidently Ponyboy feels just this. He loses pride when he feels guilty of leaving. This uncovers that Ponyboy is starting to realize he important others are and realizing others are more important. But before he is undignified by running away and frankly losing his gold.

J is for Jail
Jail is different in this time. It is took under less circumstances. Such as in the gang it is took differently, some take it as a living wrath and others as if it's nothing. This uncovers how one behaves in this time and how one cares about there behavior.

K is for knowledge
Not many people had knowledge in his time. This uncovers the personalities and actions of gangs and others during this harsh time. It shows how education was and probably not great.

L is for Luck
Luck happens a lot in this book. Many are lucky when they aren't killed. It's hard to to get in trouble and even killed in this time by others or even Soc's. This reveals how good of a gang these guys really are, how much they deserve to be lucky.

M is for Misuderstood
The Greasers are constantly misunderstood.they are seen as rebellious, punk rats normally. But they are definitely misunderstood, they all have good somewhere. This emphasizes that the gang really does have a great heart, and they are constantly misunderstood because they are greasers.

N is naive
Ponyboy is obviously still naive or as the book states gold. He still kind of sees the good and doesn't really fully understand anything yet, he doesn't understand certain things happen at certain times. This shows imagination and how good and young Ponyboy is still A great person.

O is for obedience
Obedience is important in the gang and frankly the families. One must listen to instructions by others in the gang and it is important to obey each other. This shows how close gangs were in this time.

P is for Pals
This gang have been Pals to each other. This gang had each other as families when some didn't even have family. Pals forever even thought they fight. This shows that gangs were important to greasers since most greasers lived on the streets.

Q is for Quitters
This gang never quits. Even sometimes according to the feelings it feels like they do. This uncovers that quitting isn't a key trait, for nobody quits none of these characters do.
