Quiz

Are you an accidental diminisher?
So I have the accidental diminisher quiz as a google survey. So we could include the link, but there will be no interpretation of the results. Could we add the link to the quiz? Thoughts?

  • Rescuer - their people become dependent on them, which weakens their reputation

Most Frequent Accidental Diminishers

  • Pacesetter - other people become spectators or give up when they can't keep up
  • Rapid Responder - they move fast, but their organization moves slowly; there is a traffic jam of too many decisions or changes
  • Optimist - people wonder if they appreciate the struggle and the possibility of failure

How you can become a multiplier

Questions for Discussion

  • In what ways might you have a diminishing impact on your staff, despite your very best intentions?
  • When you become aware of a diminishing tendency, at what point does it no longer fall into the category of "Accidental?"
  • How can you be a multiplier if you work in a diminisher culture?

Questions for Reflection

  • Think of an example or two of a Multiplier you've seen, whether is was yourself or someone else.
  • How and why was it effective?
  • How could you maximize that Multiplier's strength
