• A Barred Spiral Galaxy
• Contains Earth and the entire solar system
• Has more than 200 billion stars
• Dust, Gas and Dark Matter are also in the galaxy
• Has the color of white early morning spring snow

Gravity and galactic collions

• In 4 billion years. . .
• The Milky Way Galaxy and the Andromeda Galaxy will collide
• Dust and Gas will be flung into multiple directions 
• The force of gravity pulls these two galaxies together

• Without the Milky way, the sun wouldn't have formed
