Michael Graffin supported this project and immediately suggested posting this idea on The Global Classroom Project Wiki and continually Tweeted for support.

A teacher in my school connected me with his friend, Chaz Barracks, who taught at a school in Japan. He pushed to get his school to allow him to teach something outside of the normal curriculum, which was not customary.

This teacher had her students who were learning English re-enact Malala's story.

I was amazed at the amount of emails I began receiving in Arabic! I was even spammed by the National Syrian Rebel Army asking for my support. In addition, a man who worked for years in the school system in India sent his résumé to me asking me to hire him to work on the #Malala Project.
I was most surprised by my growing passion to connect globally with other students and teachers to continue learning. I am convinced that we are global citizens and need to continue the work of learning together to promote peace and tolerance.
