The Kingdom of God

By Julianna Silva

The Kingdom of God is like a cluster of stars on a dark night.

The Kingdom of God is like a cluster of stars on a dark night.

A star is someone in the world who shines bright as an example to others.

A star is someone in the world who shines bright as an example to others. In other words, we must be a star who helps others and is a role model for many.

The Kingdom of God is like the loyalty of a dog to it's master.

The Kingdom of God is like the loyalty of a dog to it's master.

A dog's loyalty to it's master is insurmountable. We should follow their example and be as loyal to God.

A dog's loyalty to its master is insurmountable. We should follow their example and be just as loyal to God. Our loyalty to God and his loyalty to us is similar to a dog's loyalty to it's owner.

The Kingdom of God is like a beautiful song.

The Kingdom of God is like a beautiful song.

A beautiful song can touch your heart just as God's presence and love can.

A beautiful song can touch your heart just as God's presence and love can.

“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.

Matthew 13:44

The Parable of the Treasure tells us that in order to be seen as righteous we must work hard to earn our place. We must not be selfish but just in our lives.

“For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard."

Matthew 20:1-16

The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard tells us that we should be generous to those less fortunate than ourselves. It also tells us that we should be knowledgeable when making decisions.
