Why are extroverted personalities beneficial to the general public?

The article, Introverts and extroverts: The advantages of having these personalities in your organization, written by Prema Jayabalan, promotes the idea of having extroverts in positions of power. It proposes that the most outgoing of people tend to be better at being responsive with adapting to their environments and others. The article also states that extroverted personalities seem to be more attractive when dispersed amongst a body of solitary individuals.

A PUBLIC SETTING:
Although Introverted personalities are typically the “social norm”, extroverted minded people thrive in public situations. The article states that extroverts consider most everybody as a friend. They are outgoing and attract other people because they either want to be friends with them, or be more like them. They are said, by the article, to be very responsive to others.

This correlates to the book because during the games, I believe Katniss became more extroverted than she had In the past. It showed this by demonstrating her ability to talk to others and initially help them in doing so.

IN POSITIONS OF POWER:

Extroverts are often found in positions of power. This is due to many reasons: They adore crowds, they adapt well with others, they are multitaskers, and they feel the need to attend to others. These are all reasons that attribute to the reason why people are attracted to extroverted mindsets. No wonder people like that get elected so easily into positions of power. People like Socrates and Benjamin Franklin were major extroverts and thus contributed heavily to our world.

This correlates to my novel, The Hunger Games, because President Snow is one of the most powerful people of their world, and he got to that point in life because he was an audacious extroverted man.

RELATION TO THE NOVEL/CONCLUSION:

In conclusion, extroverts have an advantage in the business and communications. This relates to the book because the only people who are in power or in charge have an overly extroverted personality. President Snow and Game Makers are very audacious and commanding. This is a perfect example of how extroverts can dominate the social world.
