Because they had black skin African American people did not have the same equality as the white people, so the white people treated them differently.
The Jewish people were poorly treated by dreadful Hitler because he didn't like the Jewish people, and awful Hitler ended up killing a lot of Jewish people during the time of the horrendous Holocaust.
Some Jews were put in death camps because faulty Hitler put them in there to die terribly or to die horribly in a gas chamber, but some of the Jewish people were put in back braking labour camps and harrowing concentration camps.
Terrible Hitler did not like the Jewish people because of their different culture and religion, and because he did not like the innocent Jews they were mistreated terribly.
Since Hitler did not like the Jewish people he put some of them in concentration camps, and he also put them in labour camps and extermination camps.
