  • The great white shark lives in the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean.
  • It also lives in the waters of Africa and Japan
  • They also live in the oceans of New Zealand

  • When a shark loses a tooth a new one grows back.
  • The shape and sharpness of the sharks teeth varies by species.
  • The sharks teeth help it to feed on larger fish and mammals.

Diet/Food

  • The great white shark eats seals and turtles.
  • They also eat salmon
  • Mackerel and halibut.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • A female shark can weigh up to 8,000 pounds.
  • A male weighs up to about 5,000 pounds.
  • They are 4 to 5 feet long

  • Apex predator ( boss of ocean)
  • Humans and Orca Whales are their only threat of the great white shark
