WHEN AND WHERE IS THE GREAT MIGRATION
There are several Great migrations.
But the migration in Africa is the most interesting one.
The Great migration could happen at anytime of the year.
In my opinion, i think that the one that starts in August is the best.
In about the begining of August the grasslands begin to migrate, which has animals follow.

WILDEBEESTS
The wildebeests like to follow the migrating grass plains.
The wildebeests seem to travel in huge packs, holding up to 1 million creatures.
The migration has to cross the Mara River in the Maasai Mara where crocodiles will prey on them.
They must move fast and strong to stay as a pack and hopefully not get eaten.
In the Maasai Mara they will be hunted, stalked, and run down by the larger carnivores.

WILDEBEESTS PREDATORS
Wildebeests predators are everywhere in the Serengeti.
But the part of the Serengeti that has the most predqtors is the Mara river.
Besides the crocodiles, any other Predators would rather stay in there pack then attack the beests.
The wildebeest is known for being the prey of lions, spotted hyenas, and more.

LIONS
Lions are also a big part of the Great migration.
Lions also like to migrate in packs but not as big as the wildebeests.
The packs that lions travel in, can be from 9 to 23.
Unlike the wildebeests, the lions like to stop and rest and mate at times.
Lions can eat from 14 to 16 pounds a day.

SPOTTED HYENAS
Habitats from grasslands, savannas, woodlands, deserts, forests and mountains.
Hyenas have a wide diet range and are both hunters and scavengers.
Because their jaws are so strong, hyenas have the ability to eat bones, teeth and hooves.
Hyenas will eat lizards, birds, snakes and insects but also have the ability to take down an antelope or wildebeest.
Hyenas live in clans up to 100 hyenas, with a female hyena acting as matriarch.

HUMANS
Humans are know to hunt almost anything (which is pretty bad).
Humans hunt wildbeests for thier: meat, horns, bones, and fur.
