CHAPTER 7 PT 2 🔥🔥

THE BEGINNING

• When the chapter begins gatsby and tom are fighting over daisy.
• Daisy was in love with Gatsby at this point in the book
• Tom is telling Gatsby that him and Daisy have a relationship Gatsby can't fathom.
• Gatsby is winning. 💯💯〽️〽️

THE ARGUMENT

TOM 👨

• Tom accuses Gatsby 🙀
• He says gatsby runs a bootleg operation with Meyer Wolfshiem 👴 drug store during prohibition
• Daisy is surprised and not happy
• She starts to distance herself from Gatsby 🏃
• Tom wins the argument

GATSBY

• Gatsby is confident at the beiginning of the argument
• (Daisy is in love with him)
• When tom brings up the drug store gatsby changes
• He gets nervous and isnt himself
• When the argument ends tom sends daisy and gatsby back to long island

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NICK

THE CAR RIDE 🚗💨

• As Nick Tom and Jordan are driving back they realize myrtle was hit by a car
• Nick believes it must have been gatsby and daisy by the way George described the car
• Back at Toms house Nick finds Gatsby in the bushes

GATSBY & NICKS COVERSATION

• Nick finds out it was Daisy driving
• Gatsby says he will take the blame for Daisy
• He was worried about Daisy so he sent Nick to check on Tom and Daisy
• Everything is fine except they are eating some cold nasty chicken smh
• The chapter ends with Nick leaving Gatsby in the moonlight
