Economic
The paper making process was a quicker and easier process than the making of parchment. The use of paper began to spread quickly through Islam. Stores began to sell paper as well as books.

Intellectual
The House of Wisdom is where knowledge truly blossomed. Its goal was to translate literature and knowledge into Arabic. This is where scholars from Islam and other continents came to study and establish new theories.

Political
As the empire expanded, more people came under Islamic rule. Islamic law became comprehensive as well as Arabic. It was the official language. More and More people began to learn Arabic because it was easier to communicate that way.

Social
Islam's holy book called the Qur'an developed during the Golden Age. The Qur'an teaches Muslims to respect all people of faith and not seek to destroy people or their property. It encouraged everyone to strive to live their lives full of learning and knowledge. However, Muslims did not force, but encouraged others to convert to Islam.
